Lighter-than-air Platforms for powered payloads

The TIF-4500™, TIF-5500™ and TIF-6500™ tethered aerostats are useful tools for emergency response, aerial surveillance and communication needs. Due to the significant lifting capabilities of these tethered aerostats, a flying platform, winch and tether line are other components required for safe operations. 

Modeled using the same considerations of large tethered aerostats, used in border surveillance and troop protection, these smaller systems offer the same stable platform for communications, intelligence gathering, surveillance and reconnaissance.

For missions which require flight times greater than 8-12 hrs or flying altitudes greater than 500 feet, a dilation panel is required.

A standard blimp includes an envelope, load lines and payload lines; the standard system adds the integrated flying platform, containing the winch and tether.
