PERFORMANCE AND MAINTENANCE STANDARDS
In addition to and in accordance with the FAA regulations, every Aerostar/Raven hot air balloon must be inspected and maintained in accordance with the most current revision of the Aerostar Continued Airworthiness Instructions (ACAI) manual.
PX-1 POROSITY TESTER
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Revised: 09/16/2013 This updated revision of the Operating Instructions Manual for the PX-1 Porosity Tester includes a procedure for the inspection and verification of the calibration plate used with the PX-1. Following this procedure, found in section 4.0, eliminates the need to send the calibration plate to Aerostar International for an annual calibration. If your calibration plate is no longer within the acceptable tolerances, new calibration plates are available from PARTS AUTHORITY.
ACAI MANUAL
The ACAI manual contains detailed information for the performance of the required Annual or 100-hour inspections, and the methods and techniques for the proper maintenance of the various components of our hot air balloon systems.
